Department of BIOLOGY

        The Department of Biology offers programs leading to the B.Sc. with concentration in zoology, botany or general biology, In addition department offers 2 programs M.Sc. in Biological Sciences and Biological Educational, and participates in the multidisciplinary programs in environmental sciences, leading to the Ph.D. research areas include: bioprocess engineering, plant and microbial biotechnology, molecular techniques, plant tissue culture, folk medicine and herbal use, cell biology of aquatic animal, algae and utilization, diversity of protozoa, plant stress, wood anatomy, endocrinology, neuroscience.
