Department of BIOTECHNOLOGY

        The Department of Biotechnology offers the B.Sc. degree. Study emphasizer the principles of microbial, plant & animal biotechnology, industrial applications, the principles and applicatios of genetic engineering, and other laboratory methods in biotechnology, wastewater treatmant and waste utilization. Research interests: fermentation technology, algal biotechnology, development of monoclonal antibodies specific to potential environmental biomarkers and their uses, and biological wastewater treatment system.
